The Ellison documentary, etc

I have a new post up at the the Region Between about how J and I watched the Ellison documentary Dreams with Sharp Teeth this weekend (with a link within that post to a review of it). I mention it here because it may be of interest to M-Brane readers, but I put it over at the other site because it contains a couple of frank references to sex. I'm just putting that out here as a warning for those who aren't in the mood for it. The Region Between site does present an advisory of "adult concepts" when one goes there, but I think it may only happen the first time you go there, and I don't know of it happens at all if you follow the direct link to the post from here to there.

Just so you know, having always gone there from links on here or from my friend links at Livejournal, I've never seen an advisory.

Yeah, I think the content advisory comes up only if you come at it for the very first time from completely outside the world of any LJ connections. I remember the first time I ever accessed "the Pope's" friends-only posts (which was the first time I was ever on LJ), I got that advisory but never did again after that. Also, once in a while my LJ posts are noted on my Facebook page with something that says something like "Adult Content notice from Live Journal posted by, etc..." But if you click on it, it just takes you to it straight away with no further warnings. And there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when or if my LJ posts cross-link to Facebook, so I if I want the Facebookers to know about them I try to link them to the M-Brane blog (which always does cross-post to Facebook with no hassle) or mention them on Twitter via using the Selective Twitter Updates app (using the #fb hashtag). Hmm. That's a lot of stuff going on.
